Part fabrication and prototyping studio, part hackerspace and part learning center, TechShop provides access to over $1 million worth of professional equipment and software. Most importantly, at TechShop you can explore the world of making in a collaborative and creative environment.
This is a group of folks in the greater Pittsburgh area (or beyond if they don't mind commuting) interested in hobby-grade autonomous robotics competitions. The robots will be relatively small, built from kits or DIY, and completely under their own power in terms of mobility and intelligence.
